Brompton Residence

Brompton Residence is a study in quiet refinement, proportion and the reimagining of heritage living. Originally formed from two traditional Paddington homes merged into one, the project presented an opportunity to completely reconsider the interior architecture, creating a single, cohesive residence with a stronger sense of flow, function and spatial generosity.

The concept was to retain the charm and character of the home’s original setting while introducing a more contemporary sense of calm, restraint and permanence. Through considered planning, natural materiality, detailed joinery and a softened tonal palette, each space was designed to feel resolved, enduring and deeply liveable.

Rather than treating the home as a series of separate rooms, the interior was reworked as a connected whole, where craftsmanship, proportion and warmth guide the experience of moving through the residence. The result is a home that feels both grounded in its Paddington heritage and elevated through a refined STUDIOJOS lens.
