Joss Knight
Is the founder and creative force behind Studiojos, a Sydney based interior architecture studio renowned for its refined, sculptural, and emotionally resonant spaces. With a background in design and formal training at Billy Blue College of Design, Knight established Studiojos to challenge the conventions of luxury interiors focusing instead on calm, atmospheric spaces that speak to the senses. Since its inception, the studio has grown an international portfolio of high-end residences, private jets, and bespoke yachts, where each project is crafted with a highly personal and restrained design language rooted in tactility, tonality, and timeless materiality.
Under Knight’s direction, Studiojos has also extended into the realm of object and furniture design, launching distinctive collections that echo the brand’s architectural elegance. Collections such as Tailored inspired by the structure and finesse of classic suiting and Sphaira, a study in sculptural form and Greek symbolism, have further defined Knight’s nuanced aesthetic. His interiors often pair elements like limewashed walls, veined stone, and handblown glass with soft curvatures and a neutral, layered palette creating spaces that feel as much like art installations as they do homes. This thoughtful approach has earned Studiojos features in leading design publications and collaborations with elite clientele who value design that’s deeply considered and quietly luxurious.
Most recently, Knight has turned his attention to launching Knightly, a refined homewares brand that will bring his sensibility into everyday rituals beginning with a range of elevated bath textiles. As with all of Knight’s work, Knightly embodies his belief that design should be lived with, not just looked at. Whether through a large-scale interior or a single crafted object, Joss Knight continues to shape a design philosophy that is intentional, enduring, and deeply connected to how we experience space and beauty in our daily lives.
